Downlander let's you loose on the Downs
Downlander is an all-inclusive Off-Peak day travel ticket, giving great value travel across the South Downs.
From only £10, travel to as many places in the South Downs in one day as you wish using train services provided by Southern and bus services from Brighton and Hove, Cuckmere, Eastbourne and Rider Buses.
With Downlander tickets, discounts are also given to a number of great attractions.
Downlander e-tickets are sold exclusively online and cannot be bought at stations. Downlander comes in two types; the South Coast Downlander and All Network Downlander, both giving different ranges of travel.
The magnificent stretch of coastline between Seaford and Eastbourne and inland to the A27 is designated and protected as a ‘Heritage Coast’, one of the finest examples of unprotected chalk cliffs in Britain which includes the famous Beachy Head and Seven Sisters cliffs. Inland, the rolling landscape of the South Downs and the meanders of the Cuckmere Valley offer beautiful views and delightful walks.
